My name is Sam Shefrin and I started SEO Services Los Angeles because I enjoy SEO and the competitive nature of the industry. My satisfaction is derived from helping small businesses succeed. I enjoy seeing our client websites rank above their competitors and making money as a result.
How It Started
2000-2005: After working for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young IT consulting for 5 years, I started my first online business in 2005 and proceeded to be ripped off at every turn. It started with the website design company who signed a contract to build a website for $2,000 with a three month timeline. One year and two companies later, I spent over $5,000 on my first website.
SEO resources were minimal at the time, so firsthand experience and experimentation were the only ways to the top. It was mostly trial and error and I threw money away on print advertising and SEO submission companies at an alarming rate. Fortunately, I stuck with it and started making money by the end of my first year solely from SEO.
2005- 2009: Hundreds of websites and three profitable online businesses later, I consolidated my learnings and built a winning online marketing strategy that can be applied to any industry. Our strategy is based on data, research and proven marketing techniques.
2006 – 2010: Started as Business Analyst and worked up to the Director of eCommerce at a prestigious skin care company.
2010 – Beyond: Opened SEO Services Los Angeles to the public. We are a lean shop; we move quickly and adapt to the ever changing online landscape. I am heavily involved with the process from the start of a project.
